So whats different about plug-in electric hybrid cars, we hear you say?
Plug-in electric / hybrid cars are primally a normal hybrid car but with a few difference's.
Plug-in electric / hybrid cars are a jump ahead for fuel efficiency. They generally have got a bigger battery that gets most of is power from the mains electric. By these cars having a bigger battery it generally means that the car itself will greatly reduce it's exhaust emissions which then give the car a much better MPG.
Also whats different is that plug-in electric / hybrid cars, is that they qualify for the governments plug- in car grant. These subsidises bring the cost of the new plug-in car down by £5000, or if the car costs £20,000 or less then you can expect 25% off the cost price.
