The Amlin Aguri Team started from the 12th (#55Car) and 16th (#77Car) at the Miami ePrix. Antonio Felix da Costa had an excellent race, gaining 10 places during the first Formula E race in the USA, ending in 6th place.

Felix Da Costa said ”I knew we had a good car and we could move up from the 16th starting position. Our goal for the race was to recover from that and finish in a good position. It is great that we got the points and I really enjoyed the fantastic support of the American crowd.”

Salvador Duran, whose qualifying time placed him 12th on the grid brought valuable points to the team by finishing 10th in the race. Duran was delighted to receive fan boost yet again. Duran commented: “I’m very happy with the balance of the car and I think the strategy of the team was good. We managed to keep away from the trouble from lap one. I want to thank my fans for their continued support. Winning fan boost is incredibly important to me and to the rest of the team.”

Summing up the day, Mark Preston, Team Principal said: “An incredible drive by Antonio with flawless pit stops and multiple overtakes that saw him drive through the field again, this time from 16th to 6th. Again the team won fanboost which Salvador used to great effect on the race coming in 10th to give the team its first dual points result. That is great and just what we need to be doing for the rest of the season to push ourselves up the rankings.”
