VIRGIN MEDIA TO PARTNER WITH FORMULA E FOR VISA LONDON ePRIX

The FIA Formula E Championship has today announced that leading multimedia provider Virgin Media is to partner with the all-electric race series for the this weekend’s Visa London ePrix.

The deal will see Virgin Media become the local partner for the Battersea Park races on June 27 and 28, working in collaboration with Formula E on a range of marketing activations, which will also include track signage during the double-header event.

Virgin Media is the first provider of all four broadband, TV, mobile phone and home phone services in the UK with the company’s cable network delivering ultrafast broadband to around half of all UK homes. Virgin Media is also part of Liberty Global plc, the world’s largest international cable company serving 27 million customers across 14 countries. In addition, Virgin Racing, part of the Virgin Group, is one of the 10 Formula E teams competing in the series with driver Sam Bird amongst the six title challengers.
