Driver Market begins to reshuffle slightly for season 3.

Jean Eric Vergne is moving from DS Virgin to Techeetah to race alongside Ma Quing Hua, with Citroen world touring car champion Jose Maria Lopez taking Vergne's old seat at DS Virgin. Antonio Felix Da Costa meanwhile after leaving the team previously known as Aguri is set (But not officially confirmed) to move to MS Amlin Andretti, taking the place of Simona De Silvestro, who after a disappointing season does not expect to stay in Formula E and is looking at options elsewhere for her racing future. Reigning champion Buemi stays where he is at e.Dams, as does his teammate Nico Prost who won the last two races of the season. Lucas Di Grassi and Daniel Abt are retained by Abt Schaeffler Audi Sport, whilst Season 1 champion Nelson Piquet Jnr., Sam Bird, Stephane Sarrazin, and Robin Frijns have been resigned by NEXTEV, DS Virgin, Venturi and Andretti respectively for season 2. Mahindra and the new Jaguar team have yet to announce any drivers but it is expected that podium finisher Nick Heidfeld will be retained by the Indian team, however teammate Bruno Senna is rumoured to possibly be looking for a move elsewhere after taking his first Formula E podium in Battersea. NEXTEV have also expressed interest in keeping Oliver Turvey in their current lineup in light of his exceptional performances, particularly in qualifying Battersea Park where he was able to qualify their recalcitrant twin-motored car into superpole in both the wet and the dry.
