Tesla Recalls The Model S

News for Tesla model S owners as Tesla recalls all of its Model S that have been sold to date.

The recall is due to an issue with the passengers seat belt. In a car company statement that has been emailed to its owners and also posted on its very own website the company said “Tesla recently found a modern lesson in Europe with a front seat belt it was not properly connected to the outboard lap pretensioner.

“This vehicle was not involved in a crash and there were no injuries however in the event of a crash a seatbelt in this condition would not provide full protection”.

All Tesla model S owners have been asked to visit there local Tesla service centre for a full inspection. However there has only been one confirmed instance of this reported fault.

This recall comes at a surprise considering the Tesla Model S is one of the very few cars to ever achieve a five star rating from the Euro NCAP.

This is a good reaction from Tesla whom put safety at the forefront of there business and this should not put off any new or old Tesla fans because lets face it Tesla are miles ahead of any other motor manufacturer when it comes to recalls or just being honest with their customers! (Sorry VW).
