In an effort to attract drivers and fleet-decision makers, Toyota has introduced a eco-friendly Business Edition version of its RAV4 which emits just 127g/km of CO2 and is capable of returning 57.6mpg on the combined cycle. The RAV4 Business Edition boasts the lowest insurance group rating of any RAV4, attracting a rating of 25E.

Under the bonnet is Toyota’s 2.0-litre D-4D diesel engine which is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox that sends the engine’s power to the front wheels.

The RAV4 Business Edition is based on the entry-level Active trim and carries a £1,500 premium. Externally, it can be identified by its 17-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, front fog lamps, chrome trim on the front bumper and electrically adjustable door mirrors.

Longer journeys are supported by cruise control, dual-zone air conditioning, and automatic lights and wipers. Toyota has also included its ‘Touch 2 with Go’ touchscreen infotainment system with USB and aux connectivity, DAB digital radio, four speakers and a rear view camera. It also brings online availability.

The options list contains leather trim with heated front seats, as well as an upgrade to ‘Touch 2 with Go Plus’, which adds voice command and three years of free map updates.

The Toyota RAV4 Business Edition is available to order now and carries an on-the-road price of £23,995. It can be leased from as little as £173 per month.
